Which system

I have a 8' X 4' grow room. What type hydro system would be best for growing only 4 plants. laws here are much more severe for more than 4 plants, so I wanna get the most yield for my 4 plants. I have previously grown in the hydrofarm buckets with drip rings. I was leaning towards NFT, but alot of what I have read says they are more for small to medium plants.
Any help would be appreciated.

I am pretty much in a similar scenario, and I decided to go with the aerogarden, so far things have been growing well. I have some pics on my profile you could maybe see if that would be small enough for you.

For low plant numbers and the best yields, use ScrOG. In that 8x4 space, you could fill every inch of it with fat buds using just 2 plants in 2 waterfarms. It takes a little longer to veg the plants while you train them under the screen, but you can make 2 plants look like 12.

Agree, use a SCROG system and I would personally top the shit out of those babies so you can get a ton of growing shoots above that screen and maximize the space you have while sticking to your four legal plants. Some people think topping is outdated because you can FIM which is a bit less stressul, but I personally have had great results with topping when trying to fill the canopy with shoots.
