if u want the best id invest in several electronic ballast but the traditional magnetic ones are a good deal cheaper

theres all kinda shit out here to use nowa days. i can usually and cheaply find hid, fluro tubes, cfls, led's and anything in between for them as far as accesorrys and im a genius at engineering lighting setups for rooms based on there needs. give us a little more info and let us know what you would like most of use have a few good places that we know of that may have a good deal on what your looking for.

First I would say the best light is the one that works best in your situation. Having said that - the dual-spectrum lights are about as close to real sunlight as we can get indoors. Dual-spectrum lights are ballasts and reflectors that allow you to run both HPS and MH simultaneously (see link for example):

MH/HPS Dual Spectrum Grow Lights

hes right but thats only assuming that this guy is ready to go with hid. he asked what they were so that shows he may not know enough about them to clearly say that hes going with that.......

How will I Benifit from HID
1k's are the main ingredient of "3lbs per light" threads. i have a few i'm getting rid of, cool tube reflectors. shoot me a pm if you're interested. ;)

i'll go on to say that hps is the ultimate in indoor lighting, and is great for veg and flower. more lumen than mh, (which is good for veg). add mh with hps in flower, and you'll have denser buds.
