So if those measurements you stated are in feet you have 780 square feet and want 35 watts per square foot of good led so 27300 watts of light. That's if you are using whole space and going to grow enough pot to supply a small state. How many plants do you want to grow? Also 1lb per plant is a pretty lofty goal, where did you come up with that number? I fully agree with BobThe420 builder, there is much more information needed.I have a 39' x 20' x 10' feet space to grow i want to know which lights are the best for a set up of this size my goal is to get a pound of each plant any one can give me advice?
There are a number of factors including plant count and canopy size. Check out this blog and it will give you the info you want. https://growace.com/blog/how-many-grow-lights-do-your-plants-need/hps/ mh

if all he cares about is getting 1 lb per plant i guess he just needs one. put it right in the middle of the space and just grow one plant under it. /thread.Just 1?
He is talking about a 780 square foot space and won't answer how many plants so it is impossible to say how many lights he needs. As for 1lb per plant, that is a pretty lofty goal which will take a ton of work. Right medium, right lights, right pot size, proper temps, right plant genetics, dialed in nutes and most importantly the right set of skills. Is it possible, of course it is, but with such little information there is no good way to answer. That is why I sent him to the grow light size page to do his calculations.if all he cares about is getting 1 lb per plant i guess he just needs one. put it right in the middle of the space and just grow one plant under it. /thread.
No 1lb per plants im thinking about 25 to 30 plantsif all he cares about is getting 1 lb per plant i guess he just needs one. put it right in the middle of the space and just grow one plant under it. /thread.
84 sq feet per pound of bud, cipher the plants per area and you have A answer.
Lay off the defoliation. Not gonna get a pound per plant if you keep skinning the plant. There is a time to do it, but the plant has to be super full and bushy to benefit, not the spindly little things you got in the pic.my goal is to get a pound of each plant
