which is better week 4, 78F/75% or 84F/55%?

Girls are in week 4 of flower, and ideal day temp/humidity would be 76F/50% but I can't get there right now. I can either leave the room as is at too high humidity and nice temp, about 78/70%, or I can run my dehumidifier in there and run too warm but about 84/50%. Anyone know which would be better? Thanks if you can answer.

Personally, i would avoid such a high humidity in mid/late flower but if you can keep the room spotless and have good air circulation then a good selection of strains can get away with 70% rh, its just risky and i still wouldn't do it.


Have you tried lights + dehu during night hours?

Id take 28C (84F) over 70% humidity in mid to late flower any day of the week.

It sounds like you need AC instead of a dehumidifier. I think they use about the same electricity.

Maybe one day I'd get AC. I don't want to vent the odors to the outside. I noticed there are portable inside one's with exhaust that could be attached to a filter but seeing mixed reviews on those here.

I've tried the dehuey for 5 nighttime hours. Just moderate results. Got 84/65% in day. Night low was 78/55 or thereabouts. A tiny result so far. Humidity is rising outside today. Need some better weather.

yea i would avoid higher humidity as well. 84 isnt that bad

Not sure what the old transperation dif chart says; however, I do 78f and 55rh at week 4.

I've been running high temp for weeks now. Lot's of air movement. Just the sativa left at 16 weeks. It's not super happy, but no mold.

Sure you cant rig something to vent it?

My problem is between running a portable ac and a dehumidifier same time due to overexerting the current power supply (dont wanna torch house) , but i can choose one or the other. I had to rig up a catch in order to plug into my 6" venting system to dump all the heat from dehumidifier. Works great now. But im primarily sticking with my portable right now.. and I'll switch back when i need to cure.
