Where’s the stretch? DRGT OG Kush

Been reading here for quite some time and finally came around to register. Haven’t found anyone else growing this strain in my countries grow forums.

So I vegged for 50 days, topped once and switched to 12/12 when the plants were about 10 inches tall, now 15 days later I’m only at 16 inches. I have never experienced something like that, even my indica heavy northern lights almost doubled in 8 days or something.

Anyone knows what’s going on? Could it be the angled LED’s? I’m trying that for the first time.

What type of LED is in those cans? Color and wattage?

ProEmit Grow Lights

Those are 2x 200W lights in 3500k. Coming from 8x CXB3590.

Some strains don't double in size, and some strains take longer to complete the stretch. I had a super skunk that barely stretched for about 18 days, then doubled in the next 8 days.

I really hope that’s going to happen. Although I think the budding is pretty advanced for two weeks of 12/12. From what I have experienced in my previous grows plants either stretch OR develop buds.

What’s your opinion on the angles LEDs? Normally I cover one square meter with those lights, but since I only have six plants this time using less than half the space I thought I could increase light output by angling the LEDs towards each other.

Edit: when flowered at 8 inch high the plants are supposed to finish at 24” to 36” according to the breeder.
