where to buy

where is a good place to buy hid lights? is it better to buy a complete system package or buy the bulb, socket, ballast, reflector, etc seperate? what should i look for when purchasing a light to get the most for my dollar??

Try craigslist or ebay, some hydro sites sell for cheap, you just have to find them Its going to be cheaper to buy a package deal I think...if they even offer one with what you're looking for.

Fureelz is right, packages are cheaper but sometimes the gear you get in it can suck. A lot times, as with most things, its matter of price vs quality. Ebay is a good choice, especially if you dont want use a credit/debit card. There's also htgsupply.com, bghydro.com, and a few other smaller companies, I would say google the lights and shop around if price is a big issue. You could also buy a ballast kit and then the reflector seperate, or build your own reflector if your a do-it-yourselfer, theres a bunch of cooltube and batwing reflector threads on here.
