i have two small hydroponic setups in my closet. i started the plants in a styrofoam cup with holes at the bottom. i filled the cup (small cup) with soild and started a seed. i made sure that the holes were large enough to keep the soil drenched 24/7. i soon had a baby growing and when it was about 3 inches tall i put it in a small tank (totally dark from light) with the bottom of a potter close to the water and the roots hanging from the bottom of the potter into the water. i have a small irriator from walmart with a hose run down into the water making bubbles. i went to lowes and home depot,walmart trying to find the water additives but cant seem to find any anywhere. i didnt want the plant to die so i used some ORCHID PLUS plant food into the water and mixed it around..LOL only thing i had to have any kind of chances for surviving and so far they are growing well..but id like to get the right minerals and stuff needed!!!!
