My plant is not looking healthy, anyway, I decided to re pot and......

The roots were surrounding the perimeter of the compost ball (bit root bound), but there didnt appear to be many roots at all in the centre of the compost ball.
Is this normal for healthy or unhealthy plants?

thanks, UKP

hi in my opinion it depends on age, last repot etc etc, but from what ive found as long as the roots are "heading out" then alls good, some plants can grow tall with out much root mass, some with loads of mass and short, its the thing like some shoot up then fill out,
as long as the roots look healthy then you should have no problems

Thanks Cozz,

Unfortunately my plants haven't had a good up brining,

cloned, and put it into a pot that was possibly too big.

left in kitchen under t8 for 4 weeks while I made a grow room.
Looked good in veg but at the switch leaves are yellowing and growth is small stunted. etc.. I'm going to grow them out and buy some seeds.

I'll put a picture up soon. Thanks for your advise.

Budget a us gallon per month or a liter per week of soil, that the plant is with you, go fo round pots to encourage swirling
so any hunter/feeder roots grow around in a circle rather than the square pots, that I like, that you can cram more under the lights but have corners
that im peed the roots ...like with extract vents ...kinks do cost
