Where did the bugs come from?

Ok had a few nice batches of smoke come and go.. no problems. raised from imported seeds. cloned everything. no new plants. soil came from store in bags..so where did the damn bugs come from? Mites.. The only thing I can think of is a chicken broke in to the grow room last summer.. chickens acrry mites.. but they can not be the same can they? Years ago I got some clones froma freind that had mites so i know how to handle them,, but that was in a differant house.. I am just puzzled?

i've found em on a rose bush out my back door before. took me a year of screwin around before i got azamax and a 3 day spray for 2 weeks...peace

Dude they come from everywhere. You bump up against a bush outside work, or at the park, public areas, etc. Bastards spread like the flu.
