when to start in new england

ok I live in NORTHERN new england USA and I was wonder when to start I can germinate them inside till they sprout then all I gat to put them in is these tiny tiny things for seedlings and I don't have any lights to get them started indoor, so I was thinkin mid may but it just snowed yesterday, the ground isn't frozen any more so I was just wondering what you guys think, im also going out a month before, so soon, to burry some fish for my grow.

Mid May would be very safe, yea. Beginning of May is the earliest I'd consider...

if your starting out doors yeah germinate indoors, cause you don't need light for that, then keep them near your home till they are at least a few weeks old, so you can bring them in if the night threatens to be too cold. i would suggest jiffy pots, as they are cheep and easy to transport for seedlings.
