when to harvest

I have a female strain unknown that is eight weeks into flowering my last feeding was twelve days ago in soil I have been given it water every other day as required. She is not showing signs of harvest but all her fan leaves are yellowing and eventually dying. Where did I go wrong? When should I harvest?

Check the trichromes they will let you know, when the majority of them are milky white
chop her,if you like couch lock wait till the majority are amber,if you have a digital camera take a pic using the macro
function and zoom in on the pic after and check!!!

They are not showing they are ready yet......should I not worry about the leaves yellowing out though?

Not to worry. You have to remember that marijuana has natural cycles, and the later stage of the flowering cycle is the plant dying. All reserve nutrients are being used in a last push to get those flowers pollinated. The goal of your plant right now is to form seeds and pass on genetics, so those leaves are becoming unnecessary. The closer you get to harvest, the more of your plant will "die".

Also, Yellowing of leaves usually points out nitrogen deficiency. If you have been using good nuts on a good schedule, you shouldn't be pumping in that much nitrogen this late in flowering anyways.
