When to harvest my buds??

Hey i got this plant, its going to be my fist success, and its been flowereing for about a month and a half now, i havent had time to check for a while and will be checking it for the fist time in like 2 weeks today (outdoor plant) i let it flower for so long because it i felt needed time to grow bigger buds, it had little light durring its vegi growth and was only 2 feet and reall scrawney when their were signs of buds growing and ounce moved it got bigger so i thought id give it even more time...

got any pics?

wish i had one to share... but what are the biggest indicators, its sptember, i live in wisconsin, theres less than 12 hours of light in a day, it gets about 50 at night...

can someone explain to me how to start a grow journal

well something about getting a microscope and checking when the hairs turn 50-80% red-amber-brown-dark ..... originally then should be a pale white... so when u see half/most turn dark its time to harvest.... pics would be nice

yeah last time i checked i would say about 10 percent of them were orange so i wouldnt be supprised if by know they were close to 80 percent , if more will the thc be affected...??

yes after that the thc starts to remove itself? yea just dont let it go past that... i have no idea what im talking about so u might wanna double check that info but im sure that u shouldent let it get past 80% or the quality of the bud will depriciate

hey i didnt go through your whole journal but what did u do for smell in the end and what kind of light did u use

well i harvested a couple, they smell G R E A T and are still alittle on the imature side like id say 20 percent orange hairs so ill see in about a week how my first buds are and if i should pick the rest cant wait...smells so good...

damn what a let down, i hope it was just because of their imaturity but they got me as high as the typical swag, but they smell so damn good, if nothing else i will be able to sell them for a good price, but maby its because its a sativa, which gets you more reved and upbeat so idk ill have to wait tell their mature i guess
