when to flower

i have three plants tht r doin pretty well in 24 light no dark, however its been 5 weeks now nd tht not tall at all, a foot at most, however they r really bushy. im just wondering when i shud strt to begin the flowering stage 12/12?

5 weeks? I'd start it now. They will grow a lot while in flower.

iv heard tht u shud leave them in veg for up to 3 months?

Only if you're looking to keep a mother. Veging for 3 months and inducing flowering would result in a massive plant. I'd start 12/12 now. You'll probably end up with plants about 2-3 feet tall unless they're sativa-dominant, in which case you could end up with 4 footers or taller. Don't know what kind of light you're using but you're going to need a lot of watts to sustain plants that size.

The stretch in flower will be two to three X of their current size.A 600 watt hps will only penetrate around 2 1\2 ' of the canopy, so pretty much anything below that will be puny little popcorn buds that just sapp the strength of your main cola's.I don't know what size light you got ,I used 600 as an example cause that's what I use.
Bigger light,more penetration,smaller light........
You might benefit using some LST.

5 weeks is good but its better if u let them get18 inches and flower

I would flower now. My 12" clones of indica dominant plants finish at about 30". If you are using a small light lst them to keep them low.
