when to add nutes first time grower

im using flood and drain system the plants are in 1 inch rockwool they are on there 8 sets of leaves no roots showing yet are they ready to go into the clay pellets and start the system up and feed nutriants with ionic growth

8 sets of leaves or just eight leaves? Either way now is a good time to transplant them into the hydroton. Also, start with a 1/4 strength solution of the nutes for a week or two and then move to full strength which will provide them a good transition and won't possibly cause negative side-effects to the plants. And after you have transplanted them, give them 10 hours of darkness to ease the shock of transplant. After that, just watch em grow and develop into the gorgeous plants that you want them to be.
