When pistol maturity don't match trichome maturity?

I am just under 7 weeks flowering. I have a question. Under a 100X magnification, about 1/4 are amber, 1/4 are cloudy, and 1/2 are clear. I have picked some and I like the high a lot. But, many of the pistols are still nice and white, I would say overall, the plant is only 1/4 red pistols.

What do you think? If I like the high, should I chop? Or wait? I'm just worried chopping now will leave me with less buds, since the plant as a whole still seems to need maturing.

Any advice?

pics are a few posts down.

If ya like the high then chop away. Just make sure the plant is filled out so ya dont get airy buds. Trichs tell the story dont pay attention to the pistols.

It is not really filled out, but I think that is a CFL issue more than anything. Let me take some quick shots.

I've read some posts of the long time members on this board that if the pistils are still white, the plant is still growing strong buds. So I would be hesitant to chop right now, as the buds are still growing a lot.

That said, if you like the high and the yield is where you want it, harvest and enjoy.

Dude you need a light. They look like they are 2 or 3 weeks into flowering.
He said it's cfl grow and he knows about the light issue. Tell him something he doesn't already know...

1/2 is a big ratio for clear trichomes. It's like giving up on half of the total yield ( I guess a hundred percent yield may never be possible though)...
Maybe you should wait and see for those clear ones and decide accordingly...

Thanks homey. If ya read my post, you would see I knew the light limitations. I believe I even said I am moving to HPS for my next grow. I am happy with the quality of bud, just not the quantity.
