When is pro mix hp considered dry?

Hey, i am still trying to get the seedling phase down and was curious. When you say to let pro mix hp dry for wet/dry cycle how dry is it? Would it be considered dry if I squeeze it hard and still see a little water on my finger? Or is it supposed to be even dryer? Not really sure what i am aiming for. Thanks

When transplanting pick up the plants in the new filled container before adding liquid. Then water it in. 20% of container volume is recommended. In a 5 gallon container that’s 1 gallon. Then pick it up.

Pick the container up daily. When it feels close to what it felt like on transplant it’s time to feed/water. Do not wait until it’s the same weight but close to it.
