when drying Cannibas

I need help I live in Washington State north west end and I have 4 plants that I Cut down and hung them to dry It took me 4 days to finish over 119 branches first one I started on the first of October and finished on the second then started the second one finished it on the 3rd and started the 3rd one and finished on the 4th and finished the 4th one on the fourth I have them hanging in a cool dark shed behind my Garage which is connected by a door to the Garage it is now the 13th and they are still not dry I am starting to worry about mold as the temp in the room is 58 Degrees I have a fan blowing at high not pointed at the plants hanging just under them moving the air around I started with having it on low then a few days later put it on medium and the past few days I moved it to high today I put a heater in there in front of the fan so the fan will push the heat threw the room it is my first time drying the room smells like grass I am just wondering if there is a point to where they can dry too long and what else can I do to insure they don't start getting mold on them any help would be appreciated I hope this gets in the right place for best responses from fellow growers I just signed up with this site and not sure how it all works

I don't know what it is I turned my fan up towards the hanging branches so it's blowing them but not constantly cause it is osculating but I'd have to assume it's up there higher then it should be cause it's 82 percent outside right now but they have been drying for 13 to 10 days so got to try to finish drying them soon so hope this works other wise I don't know what to do

Dang! You want your humidity down to at least 55.. temp at least 60. Go to Radio Shack, Walmart or Home Depot and buy a $10 temperature and humidity gauge. I would do a major inspection of all of your buds for mold. If you got a little, it will spread fast. Get that gauge and dial in your room

That's taking a real long time try to get the room temp up some the fan will help some but don't let it blow directly on your buds .......well that's in normal circumstances At 13 days I'm dried chopped and into cure already for a minute Try to get that temp up to around 70 degrees to get those babies drying watch for mold and good luck

Buy a dehumidifier. I was going to have the same problem here in Oregon but I immediately put a small heater and dehumidifier in there... now it is 70 degrees and 60% humidity.... the dehumidifier canisters are super cheap, like 5 bucks.

I did buy two big tubs that absorbs moisture and they haven't been even close to being full I just cut number one and jared it 8 OZ and 13 Grams but figure I'll lose some of that during the curing process

Sounds like you got a big pile of weed there...I grow little dwarf harvests compared to you, but I do know you need multiple temp. and hygrometer readings, fans & sometimes dehumidifiers...and that's a grow that just harvests a pound or so.

I have no mold yet got two plants in jars now and tomorrow will have the other two in jars so far no mold just gotta keep a close eye on it I guess for now

I also put a pack of boveda 62 in each jar.
