sex will show in preflowers, but to be sure, you need to force flowering and like I said in the other thread, within 2 weeks you'll know.

I beleave after the 8th node, you should have some early indication of sex.

Yes around 4-5 weeks old, after development of 8,9 or more nodes, preflowers will show on the 4'th node first. They are very hard to see at first, use some type of magnification. but like ORECAL said you should flower to be sure.
