Depends on the type of plant, number of plant and also on the grower. My first grow never smelled even at budding. However my new buds started smelling 3 weeks into veg and now 10 days into flowering stink. There are many methods depending on the grow. Could use a carbon filter for larger grows. Smaller grows which is what i am used to can be masked with ionizers, different air fresheners that release periodically. Could also try kitty litter inside the grow environment.

it really has a lot to do with the particular strain you are working with.

the easiest way to make them smell? Touch them........just run your hand up and down the things and see how smelly they get.

Odor control? the sky is the limit but Carbon filters seem to be the way to go. Just search it and youll find more information than youve ever wanted.

This is just some random bagseed...day 12 in that pic, and at nighttime I can smell it when I walk up my stairs...probably about 60 feet away..behind a closed door, and some sheets.

WOW!!!

you're having it exhaust thru the bathroom fan without no odor protection?

WOWOWOWOWOWOW good luck bro, hope leo dont come by knocking yer shit down. Not controlling odors will get you knocked QUICK.

and yes, im pretty sure you will be able to smell it downstairs AS WELL AS outside the house because you are just exhausting thru your bathroom fan without odor protection.....

Dude anyone that vents anywhere without at least TRYING to control odors is a fool and deserves to get caught.......

How many threads has everyone seen with 10 dollar carbon scrubbers? They are that easy to make and should be the first thing inline with your vent. The fan will draw thru the scrubber eliminating (hopefully) all the odors.
