When does a plant start producing THC?

I just did some topping and removal of a few leaves and just put it all down the disposal lol. My wife said I should have saved the trimmings but the plants are only about 5-6 weeks along and maybe 7-13 inches tall. Is it just the flowering plants whose trimmings are worth saving for making hash?

P.S. Is there a way to see the comments made with rep points? In similar forums there is always a little link that says 'user CP' that would show. Just wondering if I'm wasting time typing comments with rep. if it can't be viewed lol.

Collect all your trimmings during the grow and stick them in a bag in the freezer, they do contain trichomes - not a whole heap of them but definitely some.

Have a look at a newly sprouted seedling through a 30x magnifier and you can clearly see trichomes so they are there from the start.

Add all of your grow trimmings to your harvest trim and make the hash.

Right at rhe top of the screen on the right side is a series of links - the "My Rollitup" link allows you to see the rep comments.

Sounds like the wife was right! I should have listened...it was my first instinct to save them, then the paranoia kicked in lol. =)
