When Do I Start the Flush?

I'm 6-7 weeks into flowering... Molasses and Kelp every other watering. Just starting to see a few brown hairs and the fan leaves are starting to fall off.

When do I start to flush? Are they ready?

It's been a fun first time grow so far...

FLUSH 1-2 WEEKS BEFORE HARVEST DATE. If you don't know when to harvest you will need a small handheld microscope to look at the trichomes, harvest when 1/2 the trichs are amber colored.

how do you determine a harvest date. and if you dont have a microscope what else can you look for? majority of red/orange hairs?

radioshack has led microscopes 4 $13.00
that would b ur best bet,2 know when 2 harvest

the only way to tell if you're ready is by the trichomes, period. orange hairs or anything else is just guessing. hell, orange hairs might be a common pheno of what you're growing. just spend a little money and get the radioshack dopescope, it works perfect. sometimes people think their plants are done cause the buds stopped growing. the last couple weeks is when the inside is filling in. if you harvest too early, you're just shooting yourself in the foot.
