When do I Bud...

Pics are below, they are about 8" tall and bushy. I'm like a few weeks in on the vegatative and my box is proly like 5 feet tall so i dont know when to start budding. I have a hydro bubbeponics setup with 150w HPS and 4" high cfm duct with a carbon filter. Please check out the pics and give me your thoughts it is greaty appreciated. Thanks!

Plants grow massively when you put them into 12/12. Double to triple is what you hear but they can grow to be bigger than that depending on strain easily. To get the best response you need to list the strain.

most of them you can start to flower at 6 inches cuz the do get biiiiig!!!

That or risk at letting them get 12", then bend them if they get out of control.

P.S. Don't forget to take clones

ok awesome guys. thanks for the support. This is a dumb question, but my first big grow... do I take clones and start that way over again or do i clip buds off of current female plants and repeat flowering stage??

Take clones before you put them into flower. Mark the clones very well. Any males you find, kill it along with the clones for that male plant.

The idea is to clone to original plants and save the female clones. Grow out those clones then clone them again, then flower the grown out clone. Keep it going, now you have a strain that is yours.
