when can i put on 12/12?

hello all what age does your plants have to be to flower? as a friend said they have to be 6 weeks old? thanks all

You can start a grow from 12/12.
It all depends on your grow area and gear.

CFL growers prefer to Flower pretty soon (2-4 weeks) so the plant won't get too big for small CFL's.

You can also Flower after months of Veg and get a monster plant.

Just make sure you remember that the plant can double or triple it's size.

You may 12/12 at any time but it is best to let'em mature a bit....there is no "rule" about it, just a preference. Some veg a long time, some don't.

hi all thanks for your input, my white widow are about 4 weeks old now on there 4th set of leafs i got 5 on the go in a 2 metre sq tent thanks.

I think you should veg it until it's something like 2/3 of your grow area, and then flower it.

All are 12/12 from seed but its better 2 veg for a while because they won't show sex for a decent amount of time and it takes alot longer without the first 18 hours of light

Personally I like to veg 4 weeks and then flip them. If I'm doing some extensive topping/LST'ing then it can go up to 6 weeks. It just depends on the results you're trying to obtain. My next grow will entail some LST'ing and topping so I plan on a long veg cycle. oi vey!
