Just wanted to see whats everyones Holy Grail strain for smoking?? Growing??

Growing:

Ive got limited growing experience but so far Alien Sour Apple has been my favorite to grow. Just easy as hell, not finicky at all.

For smoking:

Pre 99 Blueberry....my all time favorite for its taste and powerful effects....truly was something special....1 day ill find something I enjoy this much (hopefully) and keep it

I dont know man, I feel like it isnt around, ive been left underwelmed by every blueberry ive had since 2006....lemonhoko also charges 200+ for a pack and I m not on that wave.....i dont like spending over 100 a pack and sometimes even thats pushing it lol.

I feel if it was still around everyone would be talking about it/wanting it......

Even guys who are obsessed with that old blueberry are constantly on what seems like an empty-handed search for it

So I dont believe its around until I smoke some.

That blueberry was the most flavorful weed ever....and now blueberry has been battered and bruised into having hardly any blueberry terps anymore....its sad.

Growing: Still haven’t found the one, Currently still on the hunt as always. Smoking: OGs, Anything Chem or Diesel but kind of the same story, we have legal rec weed where I live now but all the weed seems to suck. I don’t even have an explanation why. It sucks to be honest lol. Where did all the good freaking weed go?

I’m a home grower myself lol. Just haven’t found the one yet. I’ve grown some fire, don’t get me wrong just not “the one” The dispo weed here is garbage ( it’s just really average ). The black market here is just so so. Idk. I’ve smoked the best and what it around here just isn’t it I guess lol

read through the AKBB thread. Great successes with his blueberry in its different crosses.


My favorite all time smoke was Island sweet skunk back around 2008ish. Just a pleasure to smoke, smell, look at, and the taste was perfect. Big airy colas with pinkish hues.

I had the cut a few years back. Was acquired by a friend thru PNWroots who is friends with Lem.

Smoking: Durban Poison. To date, this has been the most consistently awesome type of weed, whether it's the $70 an eighth stuff or the "smalls" on sale.

2nd place: Chemdawg/Chem 4; my wife loves this stuff & even though she's a mostly "weed is weed" person, she could almost certainly pick this one out in a lineup and/or smell-off. And I'm with her, it's a heavy hitter that we both love.

Exactly, in crosses.

In crosses the BB F4 from DJ does fine....on its own, it doesnt come close to pre99....even in crosses it doesn't but its good in crosses.

I want JUST blueberry crossed to nothing and for that blueberry muffin pheno to come thru....that shit isnt being sold by any of these guys and imo is extinct.

I had that DJ short blueberry years and years ago - tasted like full on deep rich blueberries with a red puffy eye stone that was extremely euphoric and warming like a halo, bountiful yield with golf ball blue nugs. If only I knew how special that was in retrospect.

I know exactly what you mean. I ran across a legit blueberry exactly once, in this game almost 30 years. Grew up on the coast in the mid Atlantic states during prohibition( still have prohibition in my home state) and anyone from that area knows we were smoking Mexican brick full of seeds lol. Smoked some dank but supply chain was always dumb. Idk even to this day I don’t have to the smoke I want and prefer. I just settle sadly

Idk about that sentiment. The one I can relate to is access to a nice selection of top shelf flower isn’t the norm in all of the US. It’s harder than it should be to buy good flower.
