What's your EC or PPMs?

Just taking a poll...

What ppms or ec do you like for veg and for flower? I know it depends on the strain... but would like to know your average range?

Even though i went well under GH hydros recommendations it seems i over fed a bit so... prepping for the next run and want to see what peeps here are doing.

With RDWC waterfall system, youll never need to go above 6-650 in full flower. 2-300 in veg.

Im doing flood and drain. Started veg around 500 and finished veg about 800. Then flower i went 800 up to about 1100...

I see now much too high... stunted the growth a bit... not too bad though. But also ran into potassium deficiency... i figured out that the plants were drinking lots but not taking the nutes...

Less is More

Base Nutes
200 to 250 in veg,
300 to 350 flower
400 plus in flower when using Liquid KoolBloom or PH 13/14

Overall with addatives, Cal/mag, Epsom, Cannazym, Rhizotonic, Boost and Drip Clean, is 500 to 600 ppm
I like your breakdown. Thanks.

Just curious... what kind of hydro do you do?

i use EC:

Tap = 0.14-18 EC
Jacks + Cal-Nit + Epsom Salts = 1.15 EC
Total = 1.30 EC

So, in coco, I use the same strength feed since the plants hit 1 week old, feeding every watering, all the way until harvest. No Flush.

I use microbes such as:
Real growers recharge
Photosynthesis Plus
Tribus

For these I just rotate them weekly, and it works pretty well

I never know if people are talking about converted ppm's or 50% ppm's. That's why I go along with EC when talking about nute strength. My sweet spot in flowering is .7-.8 EC. I think Lucas formula comes out to 1 EC or 1.3 EC (can't remember). Baby clones get .4-.5 EC.

depending on the fertiliser series about .65 to 1.05

You couldn't pay me to use GH flora series.

The shit they sell here is fucked... the last bottle I had tested more than 30% less Nitrogen than stated on the label.
All imported fertilisers have to be tested on import here and any deviations printed an added to the container.

I have seen it fuck up 3 grows now trying actively twice of those three times to prevent it. But it would scorch the plants curl the leaves and chemically defoliate.

Ironically my best results come from the cheapest nutes I can find and it basically scales like that too. I now use the second cheapest nutes.

I've never had a problem with GH products. I've used the Maxi series for quite a while, and really like the results. Everyone's got their favorites tho :)

1.0-1.2 ec should keep you out of trouble in most systems.
When I was running flood and drain with GH flora 3 part I ran my PPM at 1000 and it was great. When i used it in DWC (much larger trees) I was running it as high as 1400 PPM and it was great. The larger the plant the stronger it needs to be fed IME.

You can't use the bottle recipe tho, I think thats for tomatoes or something lol.
