What's wrong? It started off so well...

I recently switched up grows to 1 gal buckets/3 gal airpots. Using TGA bagged base and super soil. Trying to main line...

600w light maybe about 1ft away. Just yesterday transplanted to airpots. Been spraying with mighty wash because of some type of bug.

Temp 62-70 hum 35-45. Tap water sat out and ph to 7. No nutes or anything else added.

What am I doing wrong?

Getting chewed up a little and the tips... stink bug chilling on one of the pots. Probably over stressing but never had these problems with dwc.

I used Mighty Wash on my last grow and it showed no ill effects to my girls in any way. It killed the mites on the first go around, I did another preventative round 3 days later. It left no trace of it ever being there. It's 99.9% water... Who knows though.

Lights could be a little close.

You havent used any nutrients yet? if so you have a mag/ or nitrogen deficiency from the look of the yellowing and i would most likely start adding in half strength of the original gallon and testing the results. Usually they will revert back to normal and the mighty wash is most likely not the problem but depending on how often you water your plants can cause excess runoff and drowning of roots, please elaborate more otherwise keep up plants look good.

Thanks everyone!

No nutes. Started in rapid rooters then the one gallon. I swear after being in the tga base soil for a bit that when it started. Not sure it was mites but something was having fun. I water every few days... Sometimes just spray or poke my finger to check moisture.

The whole plan with tga soil for me was try to be fully organic and less maintenance... no nutes.

Any product recommendations for m and n deficiencies?

If it is a Magnesium deficiency, on your next watering, mix in full dissolved epson salt(mix it in a small bowl of warm water before applying it to the rest of the water) at 1/4 teaspoon per gallon of water. You can use cal mag as well, which has a (tiny)bit of nitrogen in it. For a nitrogen defficiency, hit with a veg nutrient of your choice... They are all high in nitrogen. Or, you can add blood meal, fish immulsion, bone meal and so many more. Google it. : ) I would recommend applying any nutes at 1/4 strength as well.

Agreed ^ its good to check which deficiency it is by applying lower amounts of nutrients. That being said if you are going to flower soon make sure you dont overdo the nitrogen as they dont need nearly as much in flowering as when in veg, cheers mate good luck with the grow.

Lady bug juice is the best method of dealing with mites. It's 100% organic, 100% effective in two applications, and you don't have to turn off the lights. The plants love it because it also has some beneficial oils in it. Stay away from anything with neem oil. Lady bug juice is 100% safe if you're going to make concentrates with your cuttings. DO NOT use neem based products if you're making concentrates. I had a mite infestation once from a clone that infested the entire crop. I did one application of lady bug juice in the evening and another the next morning and I never saw a mite ever again.

If I had to guess, I'd say that soil is just a little hot for your young plants. Not a whole lot you can do other than wait it out. Having just transplanted into some heavily amended soil, there is practically ZERO possibility that you are deficient in anything; calcium, magnesium, anything at all.

I'd back that light up to about 1.5-2 feet while they adjust to their new homes. They should take off any day now...

I have GH Flora Nova but use that on my hydro. The Super soil I believe has have nitrogen but the roots need to hit it. The epson salt I will try.

Thanks. Probably 4 weeks until flowering.

Interesting. Will lady bug juice help with others insects? Not even sure if it's mites.

I'd agree with you on that. Rapid rooters with distilled water everything was money... once in with base problems started.
