whats up with this plant? pics

These are pictures from the same strain of nirvana northern lights but from two different plants. One is producing crystals like a mad man, the other hasn't produced any and all the hairs are turning brown. I have them in 5 gallon smartpots this is week 5.5 of flower under 14 23w cfls. I have two other strains in the same grow closet and they are doing great, its just this one. Should I let it continue, or should i just chop it down and make more space for the other plants? The pics show the difference in the development. Thoughts or ideas? Thanks RIU

What's the problem? They're done, this is why ur getting yellow bananas. Hope u flushed 10 days ago or t least a week. Time to chop, I personally would never let all the pistils colour, I'd have chopped already

you think so? its only been a little over 5 weeks, and no crystals, why the difference between the two plants?

I would cut that thing down before it seededs your whole crop. As for your question to the difference the one plant has hermied out.

One is over ready and the other nearly ready. It has not been 5 weeks since 12:12. pls check ur calendar. They're at different stages for sure- have u flushed? Do u have a microscope. You want to see the trichs half cloudy for a good high. Your older plants will be completely cloudy and the others on the the way.

Yes, ur right, it is a good idea to pince them off. But as they should all be coming down anyway ................

started flowering on 5/24, so it has been 5.5 weeks. the other northern light in the pic (the one with crystals) has 0 amber trichs, and about 1/4 cloudy with the rest clear. My other 2 plants (not shown in pics) are at the same stage as the good northern light.

should i still dry cure and then smoke

Like I said, one is ready and dangerous if covered in yellow bananas generally but the other set are also ready (less risk). I would cut down one half now and get ready to do the other. Yes, u have to dry/cure before u smoke unless u wanna smoke off the scissors !!
