I got like a half a gallon of country crock for two dollars, it's not that good. I eat a lot of butter but this was way cheaper, I've had I cant believe it's not butter and it's ok, so I thought this would be the same but it's not very good, on bread it's not good, and in food like rice it's not good, and I just melted it and tried to pan fry some stuff and it's not very good and smells weird

I remember reading that margarine is almost the same as plastic, just missing one or two things to become plastic. After that read I'll never eat margarine again. Nothing but butter for this guy. Stay safe... TMB-

that stuff is vile. it's just hard oil. ever try to put that shit on popcorn? fucking putrid. i'd rather eat my rice and toast dry.

when did butter become the devil? cholesterol shouldn't be an issue unless your diet is shit to begin with or you have a specific problem. where the fuck did people get the idea that margarine and other degenerate "spreads" are some kind of health food? that shit is everywhere. even some restaurants serve that crap with bread. what the fuck is that about? just eat the damn butter. go to a discount store and get the no name stuff. it's cheap as hell and it (usually) tastes just fine.

it's actually true about the one molecule but hydrogen peroxide and water are one molecule apart, so there's that. Also, milk was used to make plastic back in the 1800's, so the relevance of the information is questionable at best since the two products are so similar in molecular structure.

THAT SAID, I have read elsewhere that it's much better to stick to real butter, in very small amounts, rather than rely on the questionable processing of margarine today.

Ahh all you need is a few second in the microwave and voila useable butter.

Butter isn't even expensive, and is much healthier to use than cooking oils. I just buy 4 pounds of butter for $10 twice a year and keep it frozen until i need more in my fridge. Country crock is the dyna grow of butters.

Olivio for anything that's not baking. Baking you get unsalted sweetcream butter, that's my take on it.
