whats the best way to germinate?

i just bought 400$ worth of feminized seeds.

i got blueberry skunk/blue moonshine ( 10 each )

so whats the best way to germinate them?

is the paper towel bad? can it damage them?

or the cup method, can the water drown them?

i tried to grow before but got caught, and i used

the cup method but only some sprouted.

i did about 24 in the paper towel in a jar and every single one sprouted. those where seeds a grower friend of mine has collected. mostly all sprouted with in 2 days the rest by end of day 3

I like the "mother nature" method. Put them in the center of the pot in a 1/4" hole, cover, keep warm and moist. I go directly into a 3 gallon container and don't ever have to transplant. 50% Fox farm Ocean, 30 perilite, 10% vemiculite and 10% worm castings. I'm sure there are better methods but being a rookie I wanted to keep it simple. FYI.....Park seed company puts out a germination product called "bio sponges" and bio dome I have used them for years for Petunias and other flowers and germ rate is 100% for the most part. I threw 1 VK in a sponge and it was huge in three days. But I only do 1 plant at a time so the sponges seemed overkill, but if I were doing a lot of seeds, I would use the sponges. Paper towel method rips pieces of root off when you pull them off the towel but it works.

What I do is put them in a paper plate with water and lay them over the cable box. Then to sprout I put them in a cup with soil make sure to put another cup over it and mist inside of it. Put it in a dark place and they will sprout within 24 hours.

I like the paper towel method, covered in total darkness and placed ontop of a warm source like a cable box or computer monitor. Seems to give me the best results.

I have nearly 100% success with paper towels. Some people say germination is the beginning of new life and shouldn't be started in a shitty paper towel, but what doesn't kill you makes you stronger =)

can i use napkins instead? er is that bad?
