Hmm mate...

I'm thinking you may have over watered them.. Not sure though. When's the last time you gave them water? How much water did you give them?

Always be careful with young girls, they tend to be sensetive on over watering and over feeding.

yea looks like over watering, probably due to the smart pot ur using, ive heard a FEW different times that those things arent as smart as they say. the drainage is horrible on them. but how often r u watering??

Yes, indeed, the soil looks quite wet.

This "smart pot" you're using - does it actually have any holes or "exits" near the bottom? If it doesn't, you need to do something about it... Your plant won't get anywhere without proper drainage.

By the way, another mistake a lot of people make when posting; you forgot to give us your specs! How do you expect us to help you if we don't know what's going on?

What kind of light are you using? What is the humidity level (RH)? Are you using nutes? If so, how much and how often? What is the pH level of your soil and the water you're giving them? How large is the grow area? Are there any other plants? Have you encountered other problems in the past with this plant?

It's not the type of pot you have that might be the problem.
It's the size of the pot.
Your plant's roots are not long and strong enough to take it in the available water that is now sitting on the bottom.

Repot your plant in something much smaller, until it grows much stronger roots.
Then repot it again into something a bit larger.
Then you'll be ready to put it into whatever you have it now.

It's all about the roots.
If your roots are happy, your plant is happy.

thanks guys for your help.ive got a 400w mh . using fox farm dirt with guano mixd in it.and ive got earthstones mixd in it as well. so i was at the hydro shop and saw the "smart pot" decited to give it a try . its a fabric like pot. one gal size. plant looked real healthy and then after the transplant it went downhill. bottom leaves are crispy right now. ill lay off the watering part for now. what steps should i take to better care for it in this stage....?

im in the same boat as you i just let myplants dry out as much as possible and they seemed better as for nutes iheard with foxfarm you dont add any nutes until 30 days ofuse!..........not sure how accurate that is

You did say the bottom leaves are getting crispy... I don't want to be conclusive, but I've seen it happen. Plus your plant is too young to take that much stress.

I find it sad that a lot of people here pump so much fertilizer on their plants... :-(

If you want it to grow faster, get bigger lights.

wasent trying to pump the plant with a lot of food. all i was trying to do was boost up the nitrogen a little bit.
