Whats better? More lower wattage cfls(26W'ers) or less higher wattage (42W'ers)? say like 10x 26W cfls , or like 5 or 6 42W'ers

well lower watt cfls are more efficient also you can place them where you need them the most, getting optimal coverage. Also can LST the plant at the same time for even better coverage.. Less bulbs means you have to rely more on the LST to get light in certain areas. i guess it really depends on how many plants your doing, and how much room you have.. etc ..

true, some people prefer the higher wattage ones... im no expert with cfl growing, infact this is my first cfl grow.. but in my opinion, I would think more cfls is better than only a few of the higher wattage ones... like u said , with more, u can place them all around the plant n shit.

i have 9 26watts and im getting four more tomorow. u can get a four pack of 26watt cfls for a lil over ten bucks but the 42watt are like 15 a piece so get the lil ones
