Whats a good Lighting Schedule

Some people like to go 24/7 indoors when they are veggin their girls. I like to go 18/6. It gives them a chance to rest and more imitates nature. When it comes time to flower switch the light to 12/12. I run my lights at night so i can keep it cool in the day. Hope this helps.

I think the 18/6 is the most popular for veg, I prefere it also, no difference noticed from running 24/0 for veg except in electric bill, so I would advise 18/6 for cheaper electric bill and also to let your equipment rest for a wee time.
Flowering is a different matter, rule is the plant MUST get at least 12 hours of COMPLETE DARKNESS, so 12/12 is the norm. You can vary this slightly as with some strains, White widow for example, its good to increase the dark period for the last couple of weeks to say 10/14 and this makes the buds get real frosty looking, not tried on other strains yet but the Greenhouse Seed Co I got the white widow's from there was more frosting on the batch that had increased darkness, potency and flavor I couldn't tell any difference though.
