Whats a good fertalizer to use preferably from home depot?

i use that orchid stuff (growers choice)they got for outdoor bout 1/2 strength every watering and got some 7ft giants gonna use the bloom verision starting next week 5 bux a bag also alaska fish fert us at some home depots here and all lowes its 4 bux a quart and is great for veg alotta people recommend osmocote for outdoor cause it keeps deer away?not sure how true that is

I've been feeding mine Jacks classic african violet because of their location. Cant get out there much and ithas instantly absorbable N and slower absorbable N. it's also around the ratio I want. I give them 2000ppm solution before it rains so I don't have to worry about hauling a bunch of more dilute solution through the woods. So far they are about 6.5 feet and loving life.
