What would be standard police procedure, if they discovered my grow?

Hello all, I'm a novice in the midst of my first grow. Been lurking on these boards for a while just reading and learning but this is my first time posting.

Basically I have reason to believe that police have discovered my grow.
Not concrete evidence, but there's a strong possibility. I don't want to go into details, for obvious reasons.

Obviously the best thing to do is to let it cool off and stay way clear of that area for as long as possible, but the problem is that my plants are JUST about to show their sex, so semi-frequent trips are very necessary (especially because this is my first grow, and I'm not extremely confident in my ability to sex the plants).

So what I want to know is, what do you think the police would do? Am I going to go back and just find everything gone, and then read about it in the paper in a few days? Do you think that police would actually wait around for a grower to return? Will there be traps/surveillance? Am I just high and paranoid?

Theres a good possibility that they might set up trip cams to get a nice close-up shot at whoever is growing the plants but maybe not, some will just pulll the plants and be done with it...I would let it cool off for awhile whether your plants are about to show sex or not.... i mean its your freedom or seeing if you need to pull a male...you choose

or they might knock on your door, tell you they know what your up to and will get a search warrant if they see it continuing. How many you growing?

and lol where im growing there is a cop that lives right across the street =)

yeah i have like 3 cops living on my street
but i am very good at keeping things secretive.
and i have a cannabis card
which helps a lot

Maybe you should call the cops on a pay phone, say there is a grow site somwhere random, and watch and see what they do? Spy on them to get some insider info

or like
move your plant.

but really think about
how would they now its you
and how would they know where it is
i mean its not like you walked down there with cop cars watching you.
or maybe you did...

How many plants are you growng? Ussually they just pull them and are done with it. Unless you have a big OP going and not just 2-3 plants.

You can check the trees for infrared lasers with a camera phone. This will show if there is a laser trigger camera in the trees.... Test it on your TV remote.

i dont think he does know im growing there but i am over there all the time, and i have a medical card as well so it doesnt matter =)

WHOOAAAAAA!!!!!!! for any of us to know if this is actually a real threat we need to know the extent of what went down at this "grow site." give us the situation and what really happened and i guess if i am not making sense right now it is because i am pretty blazed, but!!!! for any of us to give you good feedback you gotta tell the story my bro.........

in aus if its outdoor they normaly just take your plants and trash your stuff up.if its indoor or backyard they will knock on the door with a warrant search the place and take your plants +setup then pull your pants down give you a smack on the bum and send you on your merry way with warnings of a more severe bum smacking in the future if caught doin the same thing again.

go down there check if there males pull any males and destroy them if a cop sais anything to you say you saw them growing and your strongly against it and just destroyed a few of them in spite of the pot heads and then never say another word to them no matter whAT HAPPENS

that is the best thing to do in your situation

go in at night like a ninja all masked up and shit, and just move 'em. there wont be cops posted. just a cam at worst. get over on 'em some how. fuck the police! and i bet it was kids anyways. so move 'em! or someone else might for you....

what i would do, is go to your spot at night...if they have cameras set up, you will see a flash and know where the camera is. then smash it, take the film and dump it far away. then you can safely move your plants far from that area. so yeah, just go at night, its safer that way.

Yea only most of the camera's now use infrared...so there's no flash.

If you only have a couple of plants they will just pull them...I know because this has happened to me a few years back...had..but if you have more than a few, chances are they might set up servailance (spelling)

Depends on the size of your town and the size of marijuana problem, Id say if people get busted alot for pot and the town is wealthy and big and able to actually spend the money "trip cameras" then you should be worried. But they most likely just chopped it and were done with it, it would make sense if you had a field of marijuana and they found it, but one plant? No way they are going through all that shit to set you up for a plant that doesnt have buds on it.

If you have to check them wear a good mask over you face and clothes that are common everyone wears jeans t-shirt. Make sure to wear gloves and think about your shoes also being idenfied in case they do have a camera set up..Check them quickly and get out of there..
