Hello everyone.

Ok!!!! maybe I couldn't ask the right question!!!! This is whats going on with me: I have no luck!!!!
After adding water and fixing my ph in the res, the next day the water went from looking clear with the correct ph, to looking whitish/grayish with the ph higher then what I had it set on. What mad the water do that? I covered the res and the room is really clean. I don't understand or know what happened, so I don't know what needs to be fixed. If anyone has any ideas or could tell me what's going on wrong with my room, please help. Thanks!!!:peace:

well the ph of your res will fluctuate as nutrients are absorbed by roots changing the chemical makeup of the water in the res. and therefor changing your ph level.
the whitish grey water sounds bad. it could be your nutrients changing the water color, but i think it is more likely residue from some form of algae. take your plants out of the system, empty your resivoir and clean it thoroughly with 10% bleach 90% water solution, clean the air-stones hoses pumps (run the bleach solution through the pumps) then re-clean everything with warm soapy water, then rinse with plain water (take special care to make sure the airstones are well rinsed). this should be done weekly or at least bi-weekly. cover the res. to keep light out and it should slow or halt algae/ contaminate growth.
