What week do your fan Leaves really begin to yellow?

Just wondering in which week do your fan leaves really begin to yellow and fall off?

I was watching a video from Grow420guy on youtube and his plants had almost no fan leaves near the end.
I am in week 5 of Bloom and most of my plants are showing signs of what I guess is maturation. I want to make sure it's not a major issue.

My Superskunk is yellowing the most. I have been feeding PH 6.5 nutes. 700-800 TDS

Flornova bloom
Liquid Kool Bloom
1 tsp CalMag

I even gave them a little Floranova Veg last week to make sure they had enough N.

Fox Farms ocean forest plus dolomite
Temps avg 76 degrees lights on. 72 Lights off.
Water is a mix of RO and Tap 50/50. 300 ppm before nutes.
400w HPS.

Some strains are known to express fall colors but it is possible to keep most plants green all the way through harvest. Once you get off a little bit, it is difficult to catch up. Yellowing leaves in flower never go green again.

The good news is that it is harder to screw up your dry and cure when they fade early. I've never considered a little fade in the last two weeks a bad thing.

My plants usually make their big finish with most of all their fan leaves still intact and most of them are still very green. Toward the end though, I will have to say that the bottom 1/3 of most plants have shown "some" yellowing and some leaf drop and some very crispy leaves which is totally normal. I grow only organic and in soil and I NEVER flush my plants ever. No flushing in nature= no flushing in my grow world. Buds are smooth not harsh and very easy to smoke with fantastic flavors. Maybe synthetic or lab created fertilizers are more persistent in the plant tissue and really needs to be flushed. My super skunks always yellow pretty bad I'm not sure why but normal for me and them.

Thanks, that's good to know... I like this Super Skunk. She has been a strong plant. My last Super Skunk yellowed a lot also. Might just be the way it is.

Its all on the strain and growing method
Ideally you want as much healty fans as possible all the way through
fans are a nute and water storage as you get deeper in to your flower stage your plant will absorb need nutes from the fans if not available in your growing medium
Its totally normal to loose 25% or so of them but you dont want to loose all or most of them
This is a real short explanation theres a ton more that could be said but this is a general idea

Only thing I can think of might be my soil PH.. Everything else should be solid. Makes me wonder. I have tried testing soil PH runoff, but I don't really know if that is helpful. I should get a decent soil PH meter. Just to be on the safe side.

from what I see your plants look good im not trying to say you have a problem I was just trying to shed some light on the subject

Ive went through several soil ph probes and none of them have worked i just orderd a blue lab soil ph pen ill let ya know how it works

Yes, please do.. I hear so many things about soil PH.. It's all conflicting. Some say it matters, others say it doesn't, some say PH your nutes others say it will kill your grow :)

Also, maybe I am over watering. Or some of my plants are super heavy feeders.. Who knows.

Let me know about the tester.

There is nothing and I mean nothing worse than fucking something up by over thinking... I'm saying this with a smile on my face... Strong words they are, fail you will by over thinking and worry. Not that you are, but I would think and re think EVERYTHING , adjust and re adjust and on and on and on. I made this "cool" thing that I liked to do one of my biggest worries. I literally almost came to despising it. I grow in dirt, I grow organic except for the chloramine in the water from my faucet. No , I don't filter it ,I don't check the ph I don't care. My friend , "friends" it is a weed we are growing not some sort of nuclear baby. It must be fun and enjoyable. Good luck, I will wish for a fantastic harvest for us all.
