Hey RIU, looking for input on some 18" wall mount oscillating fans. Need to buy a few dozen so don't want to end up with junk that stops oscillating etc after a month.

Whats working good for you guys? Air king? Active air? Patterson? Big $ differences between those 3...$70-$400 CAD.

Any input would be appreciated!!

I have a few, all are identical but branded differently. Non where more than £35 and all work very well.
In fact I wish I had discovered them sooner, I mount mine facing down from the ceiling.
Im not familiar with those brands or your market but one bit of advice, buy ones that are manually operated, like with a switch or string to turn on/off or change speed. Remote controlled ones will stay off if there is a slight power cut and need to be switched back on, ones with a manual switch will fire back up instantly as soon as power is returned which is obviously what you would want from a fan.

Thanks for the reply!

Which style are u running on the ceiling? oscillating wall mount or the greenhouse style ones that pull air up and push it out sideways?

Hoping I can find some input on brands of wall mount fans that are quality. Usually get what you pay for just need to figure out what to pay for!!

Mine are oscillating wall mounted, I will have to look into the other ones.
I agree you normally get what you pay for but somethings are not made to be run in grow rooms so having an expensive one conk out after a year would really upset me.

Tried to post a link but it says I don't have the privilege as I am new here. Search Amazon "Commercial Oscillating Fan" mine was by OEM Tools

No. Not handy. Basically just remove the stand. Shape a piece of wood to fit in. So a dowel ,screw through plastic into wood. Then the wood attaches to a bracket that goes on the wall. The bracket can be made at any angel as where u want to point the fan. Some I have I removed the metal cage as it’s too heavy to oscillate. Because of the angle.

I use a durabreeze one that I have attached near the ceiling angled down towards the plants and osc in a circle. I've been using it for a year and it works great. The mounting hardware it came with holds it very well.
