What to Put on the walls????

hey yall, ive been doing a ton of research and i cant seem to find different options for what to line walls of my grow closet with.

i have thought of tin foil, and white paint.

im just looking for options right now, all comments however relevant are welcome. thanks

dont waste your time with anything but white paint. You will go that route anyway after listening to the mylar flap and never quite get it straight on the wall....

Never ever EVER put tin foil on your wall. White paint is the cheapest. I use black and white poly in my room. (white side out of course)

possibly a mirror that fits on the wall? This might work.

White paint is definitely the best.

Believe it or not, its the most reflective. Mylar is ok, so is that black n white poly stuff. Don't use tin foil.

I personally use mylar, and plan on switching to white painted walls as soon as my current girls are done flowering.

i use the emergency blankets from the camping section for about 2$ apiece... also helps if you have to spray for pests to keep the overspray off yer wall

Mylar absolutely, positively sucks putting up on the walls and cleaning but...

It works really well.

Get 4 mil if you can, easier to use.

me and a buddy both use the reflective sht ppl put over thier car window, its 3$ at walmart, works good.

Try this stuff here. http://www.viagrow.biz/polyshield.html. I just put it up and it does exactly what it says it does. It is heavy duty unlike mylar, easy to install and very reflective even though it does not "appear" as reflective until hit with light. I went with this because it is supposed to act as an odor barrier and block all external light sources (the back side is black). I just put it up so no results yet but it sure looks good and I gotta imagine it's better than white paint.

flat white paint is the best way to go. easy to apply, cheap, and easy to maintain. just re apply a coat every 2-3 grows....

Not sure if this is true but i heard that mirrors just cause heat problems with to much reflection.. maybe this is wrong but ive just read that here one time.
I use Flat white paint. Works GREAT!

what do you put in the white paint for mold prevent? When I asked the guy mixing/shacking at home depot the old geezer refused to put anything in the paint as he said would make the paint fail in application?

you just wipe it down with bleach between grows. or if you have the money you can use special primers, but bleach works just fine
