what to do with "spider mite" weed

My last crop had a massive spider mite problem. During harvest most of the webs and bug came off but i had to harevest early by a week or two. some of it has turned out 'ok' with age of curing but 2 strains are not pleasant to smoke but get you high.

Would it be worth it to use to make butter to use to cook?

Good point. And i know just the person. but still I might throw a 1/4 oz and all my saved up trim into some butter and make some cookies. I would still be able to make about $300-400 on the snicklefritz.

Smoke it! Unless theres more spider mites then bud then I would go with iso hash.
Yeah I agree. i have 4 strains that turned out OK with a long cure(2 months) but I have 2 other strains that is kind of harsh. So I gotta decide what to do with the harsh ones. I'll figure it out. I don't at all know how much hash oil I can get out of how much weed...

Must have been a very bad prob if you had webs, wernt you watching and checking regularly???? The idea of making butter out of mites makes me sick :spew:
Give it away to mates and when you see them again say sorry.

I'm usually very diligent about cleaning my space every week and after the mite problem I make sure to properly apply neem oil to my plants during veg.

What happened was that I came down with a serious and contagious bacterial infection. I don't tell anyone around here so i don't trust anyone to care for my plants let alone even see them to begin with.
So when I first got sick my dr told me that I'd feel sick for 2-3 weeks and be contagious for 6. Anyhoozle, I was down for the count so while i could one day I watered the plants but not quite enough (it was only my 3rd grow with good seed and lights) and I was in bed for like 3 days thinking they would be fine. They had wilted and the mites set camp. I could tell that something was very wrong by the white spots but is was the first time I ever had mites so I thought it was nute related. By the time that I watered the plants again and noticed the webs it was WAY too late.

A perfect storm of illness, ignorance about pests and just plain inexperience.

Here's what is going now. Day 41 of flower. All clones, 3 - Mohan Ram, 3 - Dinafem Critical+ and 1 Greenhouse Superbud. Seeds from attitude.

The three plants in veg under the T5s I neglected to label for some reason but they are mohan ram and/or critical+. I am experimenting with 'tying/training down' plants for the first time, just to see what happens. Not a full LST but just bending them down. The one in the middle looks awesome.

can someone give more info on 'mighty wash' and" ISO was',Please? I too am dealing with spider mites. Wrong information plus being naive as to how determined the lil effers are led me here. Never again will a mite cross my threshold! No more clones from THAT GUY. So I have been pulling them off the survivor plants with tape.Hours and hours of tape.( I have 3 plants left that may pull through) I know I reduced the population. But enough? I'll let you know..also, I put the buds from the sickest plant (I cut it down) put them in a plastic bag and CO2-ed them. Mites are all dead, but I threw a lot of rot bud away. This happened two weeks before prime time,my best biggest bud plant and I have maybe 1/2 oz for my troubles. Those damn(##$%^& mites!.................. So I live and learn.....Good Luck and happy harvest everyone.
