If the eggs are in the soil there is a neem seed product designed to put right on your soil, killing the eggs. I forget exactly what it's called but any hydro shop should know.

I've heard of adding sand as a top layer to your soil
yes i also heard of sand being on top of the soil i guess it doesnt allow the larve to come up! dyna grow neem is good for rootfeeding! i have nats too, i bought sticky traps and the sticky tape rolls from walmart, i caught a bunch of them i very rarely see them flying around anymore!

I've tried sand, sprays (pyretherin), I can't use the sticky strips in the grow area itself 'cuz of air movement. Do the dunks work? These fuckers are more a nuisance than anything. I've had 'em since day one this grow. Never had 'em before, but by god, I got 'em now!!!

And these are vacuumed daily!!!

I got them in my cloning area and panicked. I heard they were death on young roots, but I can't kick about the success ratio. I'm sure they can't be good for them, I just don't see a catastrophic crop failure over them. I WOULD like 'em gone, tho....
