Does anybody know of any good strains that will tolerate high temperatures?
I've heard the ideal temp is around 78 but it is difficult for me to maintain that especially in the summer. The area I am using heats up from 70-90 degrees right now while it is lit. On hot days though it gets to around 90 degrees outside and I live up north. So I figure there must be varieties of marijuana that naturally grow in climates that are regularly upwards of 90 degrees. I tried searching the forums and I found threads about hot grow rooms but I couldn't see anything about strains that may tolerate it better.
This is my first time growing and sort of an experiment, I started 5 seeds of different varieties. Super Lemon Haze is the largest so far, followed closely by Big Bud. Alaskan Ice and Brainstorm are comparitively much smaller, I'm not sure if they are stunted or what. Jorges Diamond got burned early when I put them all too close under the light.. oops I should have known better but interesting that only 1 out of 5 was noticeable damaged by it.
