What should I do?

I'm in my first week of flowering. What should I do with the shade leaves, should I remove them or leave them on? I'm concerned about the middle of the plant not getting enough light. Any help would be appreciated.

Leave them on when you start cutting off all your fan leaves they cant produce as big of buds the fan leaves are what gives your plants the energy to create buds by convertting the suns energy into plant energy known as photosynthesis. Your plant still has to go through the stretch i guarntee you in two weeks that plant wont look the same. Leave them on and later in flower you can cut them off or better yet just cut them in half that way they still give your plants energy and your bottom sites can get more light.

Yup, leave them all. Your plant creates energy in the leaves and then distributes that energy where it is needed - not every part of the plant needs to be conducting photosynthesis in order for it to be receiving energy.

Id leave them on but maybs try using some gentle LST to pull the plant's branches apart a bit. You can also tuck the fan leaves into less obtrussive postitions.
