majek Well-Known Member Jul 7, 2009 #2 don't use CFL's unless you use alot of them or you will end up with stretchy plants. I reccomend a 250watt HPS lamp from HTGSupply. I got mine for $99, my plants love it and it doesn't put off too much heat.
