What kind of wattage will I need for a 3 step growing cycle?

I wanna do clones, veg and flower in seperate spots. Im wondering what kind of wattage I will need to get em to grow in clone, flower and veg at = speeds?

I have a 400 hps, will i need a 400 mh or CFL equivilent for veg? How much for clone?


I can only grow in the fall/winter/spring because i cant afford to use AC in my attic.

So i wanna grow as much as i can during those months.


My Flower chamber is 4wide x 8 tall by 3 deep.

Veg is around 4ft wide by 3 deep. x 4ft tall.

Clone will be a small 32 gallon tote or somthing similar.

I plan on using CFL for veg and clone, just curious what kind of wattage ill need for each.

theres no such thing as a equal 3 stage setup. the perfect solution is to have 2 flowering chambers and 1 veg/clone chamber. u clone ur plants and root them which will take close to 2 weeks then u veg them for another 2 weeks which will equal close to the 1 month veg cycle. u take cones off them and throw the plants in the first flower chamber...u doo it all over again then throw it in the second chamber....everymonth ull harvest bud.

Yeah, i cant do 2 flower chambers. Any info wattage wise though?
