What kind and what size containers?

Hey everyone,

I'm currently growing indoors, under two 1,000 watt HPS lights, in organic soil. I usually veg. for a month and flower for two months. I've been using 5 gallon pots but lately have been curious if I could get away with using a smaller pot size. What do you guys think about this? What are your opinions on the grow bags vs. pots as well. Also, do you think this is a little too long to be flowering? Thank you. Any input is greatly appreciated.

I have no experience with grow bags but the idea is interesting. I personally use 3 gallon pots. I see a lot of people say 3 gallon or bigger is A-OK.

You should flower until you achieve the correct mix of cloudy/amber trichs that you want. Remember that cloudy is a more energetic high, where more amber causes a couch lock effect. Also remember that different seeds have different flowering lengths.

What will you be using for flowering? I understand you have 2 1000 Watt HPS's will that be all you use or do you have conversion bulbs as well?

you can go smaller you just need to water more and be more careful with nutes. bags you can squeeze in tigher but pots are more durable. the last question is really a matter of how far along the plants are. For me I like my plants to really look like there done ( like a fall tree) but some people like to pick them earlier than me. read other peoples grows and then decide what you want to do
