what is longest plant should take to show sex?

guy i know has 10 plants growing 9 have had bud sites since flowering day 4 he did get two males also started with 12 question is there is one plant that has no bud sites or pollen balls there are long pre sex pistils that have been there for about two weeks this seed was a free seed from a seed co online the rest were feminized anyone think this plant will be a hermi cause of the length of time its taking to show sex? he dont want to comprimise rest of plants and this plant is a monster has anyone ever had this problem? are there strains that take weeks longer than others to show sex? could he have a male that already dropped pollen?

Hate it but ya gotta have it. Yeah some strains (sativas normally) takes longer to show sex.

Pollen wont be dropped after 4 days, you can have male flowers around for quite a while before they open up.

i dunno if i was clear the plants have been flowering 4 wks now just one plant that hasnt shown sex

it took 17 days once to show sex on my plants, i also had 1 plant on 12 and 12 for 58 days that didnt show, swear to god

It's gotta just be some landrace sativa. Something that takes 20 weeks to flower. Hate that shit, that's why they give'em away.
