My local grow shop never has bud factor and I’ve heard amazing things about the longevity of photosynthesis this nutrient creates. Any other nutrient out there from another line doing the same thing?
What is a good replacement for Bud Factor X from AN?

It's just magnesium nitrate. Save your money and don't pay for some bottle with a fancy name and shiny label. It's not as if AN manufactures the ingredients. They just buy them in bulk from the same place everyone else does.
$15.99 for 2 pounds of water soluble. That will make gallons of Bud Factor X.

You can buy aspirin and chitosan separately. Don't bother with the harpin protein. Aspirin is so cheap, there is no downside to trying it out, dosage is 1 315 mg tablet per gallon (you can use that for a root drench or foliar). You can google the studies on salicylic acid and chitosan on plant growth, there are many. Both have impressive anti-fungal properties, but I'm not convinced they increase frost at all.

The markups are huge. You don't even need to handle the raw ingredients. You can have a co packer mix, bottle, and package everything for you at their facilities and ship it to you. If you're selling online you can do it out of your garage. There are nutrient companies selling 4 oz packs of calcium nitrate for $10. You can buy a 50 pound bag for $50.

They had a stop sale order for Bud Factor in Oregon a few years ago because of unlisted ingredients on the label. I forgot that AN would rather pay a fine or get a stop sales order instead of listing their ingredients on the label.

This whole thread is amazing. I was just about to order it for almost $100 for 1L!!! Can the aspirin be used for powdery mildew? If it is systemic, as I’ve read a few times. Cuz I’ve done all the environmental changes and it keeps returning. I’m going to switch to a couple Autoflowers in the meantime
