What I plan to do. Will this work?

So I am a new grower, actually havnt even really started yet, but Ive got a buttload of the materials I need.

Anywho. I was gunna do a closet grow, just sitting there in closet, but not able to cut holes in any of the walls as I dont own this place and if parents come over, it would be a bit suspicious.

So what Im planning to do (if it will work or you all give me good advice I can work with) is get one of those grow tents
http://cgi.ebay.com/Hydroponics-Tent-36x20x62-Home-Hydro-Cabinet-Grow-Box_W0QQitemZ220417478744QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item3351e7d058&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=65%3A12|66%3A2|39%3A1|72%3A1205|240%3A1309|301%3A1|293%3A1|294%3A50
Thats approx 36x20x64 and put that INSIDE my closet.
My closet is 54x54in.

Now That tent will fit no problem of course with MUCH room leftover.

This is where my main questions come into play.

If I Did that, will it be alright? I will definitely have air intake and exhaust with a DIY carbin filter. Just not sure if the box being in a closet wll make a big problem. Also would I be able to keep my clothes in the closet?

Looking for any and all advice! Thanks! Will definitely +rep. If I cant at themoment, youll get yours once I can!

-edit- Also Im planning to grow 2 plants at a time.

edit 2 - I made a 5second reallllyy rough draft picture of how my closet would look with that tent size I mentioned and my clothes in there.

I was actually thinking of doing something of the sort. I wish I could pay you to come over and do all that for me haha.

I see youve got the duct running out of the cabinet through a wall thingy, in my case It would have to come out of the cabinet and thats as far as it can go. As I mentioned, I wont be able to run anything out of the closet. Also how well does that hold smell? Im wanting to keep my clothes in the closet still if at all possible.

You'll need some way of getting the exhausted air away from the unit, or you'd just be creating a closed loop. The same air would just be getting circulated around constantly, getting hotter and depleted of carbon dioxide every time it went through the tent.
The heat has to go somewhere, and plants need fresh air, not just the air they had 5 minutes earlier.
If you can't run ventilation into/out of your closet, find a better spot to grow. Don't do it if you can't do it right.

Mhmmm.

What IF I put the intake fan on the lower left side (right along wall next to door) and had it laying on the ground next to bottom of door? My door sits up about 2-2.5inches off the ground, so the fan would be able to draw in some air from the room outside.

Would that work?

Ideally, you need to get air in and out of the room. A fan sucking air under the door will work for intake, but if there is no way to vent the existing air, it won't be very effective, and heat, moisture and oxygen will build up rapidly, which may present problems with your grow. Since you are growing within a tent inside a larger room, the problems wouldn't be as pronounced as in a completely sealed room, but you still need some form of air exchange.

if there are no vents, windows etc in your closet, you could either:

a) cut a hole in your ceiling and vent upwards.
b) take up a floorboard for intake, then vent out under your door.
c) install some louvres in your door, or replace it completely with a louvred one.
d) leave the door open slightly and get an oscillating fan, to mix the air between the closet and main room.

The last option is the least damaging to your property, although stealth is obviously compromised a little bit.

I'm sure there are other ways around this problem. If you can post some pics of the area you want to use, someone else may be able to come up with something.
