autos don't get very big, usually between two and three feet. haze strains don't yield very much either. On the heaviest yielding auto i've seen grown by a friend who only grows autos, he pulled just under a qp. You don't need to go crazy on the container size as your plant won't get very big. Three gallons should be sufficient. choosing which pot to plant in is a matter of preference. I like to keep my seedlings in 1 gallon containers on heat mats for the first week or so to keep them warm. Good luck and Respect.

https://www.rollitup.org/auto-flowering-strains/509648-growing-auto-flowers-big-yield.html <---- lots of info out there
Im on my 1. autogrow and i am amazed at the height and width of these Devils. The taproot of autos goes way deep way fast, im no soil guy but i think a 8L square elongated pot would be good.
Just dont underestimate it will affect yield and potence thinking its not gonna be that big and not giving it room to grow.
But take a look at the link he seems to now what he is doing getting that great yield from autos.
Check out my grow too think its gonna be good! :) 52 days from seed.
Good Luck & Have Fun

the guy hydro linked you to is using 3 gallon fabric pots, his plants are around 3 feet tall, and he pulls an average of 4 oz per plant. lol

I was told that kbo ca and i see you,re using gallon/5ltr pots, but hydrogp uses 8 ltr and the auto only chap 15 ltr ??? "due to there relative short life they dont have time to fill a big pot" is what i was told. So i,ll try one in a half gallon pot the others in a gallon pot and see what difrence there is. thanks for the advice chaps TCD

I do not use 8ltr pots. I do DWC in a 95L res. It was an idea for your soil grow. I dont know much about soil. That is why i gave you a link to a guy that clearly knows his soil and autos. Yeah but reading is not for everyone. Gl though.
Dont think youll fit these in a gallon.DSCF3524.jpg

Im using Cellmax root booster the first 2-3 weeks. But had no idea the roots where that mad before the pump acted all crazy, and looked like some old pasta maker.

hey, im currently growing 3 ultra lemon hazes which are currently on day 56. I would not recommend auto seeds due to their inconsistent and unstable genetics. had my 400w hps on 18/6 for almost 7 weeks with no flowering. Threw it in with my buddies photo and am seeing strong bud growth already. Auto seeds uses the term "super auto" to describe this strain but the ONLY super-autos out their are stitch's genetics. the real super autos from short-stuff and flash have zero ruderalis in their genetics, which greatly increases yield. Dont get me wrong, they are in 2 gallon pots with FFOF and are approaching 3.5 feet tall with an insane amount of bud spots. And even though the plant has no resemblance to any haze( or sativa) whatsoever, It is definately going to be a high yielder. i did not intend on purchasing a photo strain. In order for a strain to be "auto" it must flower under 24 hrs of light. I was willing to stoop to 18/6 to get those girls to flower but to no avail. So all in all, when I asked stitch about these so called "super autos" he replied, "I personaly don't give any credit to this new seeds bank that use popular names just for selling, without any stable auto strains and also using the term "Super Autos" when those THINGs.... ARE NOT Super Autos..."

If you see a clear problem with changing your light schedule to 12/12, I would recommend going to 16/8 or 14/10.

i had 3 ultra lemon hazes and they all budded automatically under 24/0. maybe its just the set up? i transplanted them at 3 weeks and they got a bit of nute burn so maybe it made the ruderalis genes kick in :/ its a mystery :) i had mine under 250w cfl red spectrum, after switching from a 125w cfl white spectrum. maybe hard contrasts in environment help them come along, coz mine budded very nicely (for the stress they went through - nute burn, heat stress and nute lockk out) and were finished in 10 weeks very nice dense nugs covered in frosty trichs
