What happens if I forget to turn my lights off? (no timer)

Im just wondering, say I didnt have a timer for my lighting and I forgot to turn my lights off when Im supposed to... say 12 noon. Well its now 1:30, should I turn the lights off for 6 hours and continue as normal tomorrow at noon, or should I just skip the dark period and continue it tomorrow? I know it can stress the plants when the lights arent consistent but I am wonder which would be the better option?

I´d turn it off when you notice the mistake.. Then just return to same schedule.

ok thats what i was thinking but that only answered half of my question. well maybe its just another question lol but anyways now im wondering if my lights go out at noon but i didnt turn them off until 1:30 should i do the full 6 hour dark period or do a 4.5 hour dark period before returning to my normal schedule?
